Position: Provider Data Specialist

Location: Honolulu, Oahu, Hawaii

Experience: Two - three years of clerical experience; Data entry experience with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail

Education: High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience

Type: Full-time; Temporary, ASAP – 3 months w/ possible extension

Schedule: Normal business hours *working hours may change based on business needs*

Pay: $16.50/hour PLUS continuous mentorship and assistance with progressive career placements

Staffing Solutions of Hawaii is seeking Provider Data Specialists to join a growing and dynamic team!

Job Description:

• Perform initial and updated provider data entries and contract designations in QNXT with a high degree of accuracy
• Conduct research in both the Contracts Module and Claims Module of QNXT to determine how or why contract data may be causing delays to claims processing
• Complete necessary QNXT entries and/or make adjustments to the Provider Contracts Module to allow pended claims to process
• Ensure that the section of the Local Use Report assigned to the Contracts and Credentialing Department is cleared and corrected in a timely manner
• Provide contract information and status updates to the Provider Relations Department and other AlohaCare departments as needed
• Additional tasks as needed

Position Requirements:

• An understanding of medical professional specialties, academic degrees, and contract terms
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Outlook)
• Good organizational, time management and analytical skills
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities
• Positive attitude and ability to accept direction
• Ability to work with different people and personalities
• Ability to concentrate for long periods of time
• Attention to detail
• Word processing skills of 45-60 wpm with a high degree of accuracy
