Position: Entry Level Warehouse Associate

Location: Honolulu, Oahu, Hawaii

Experience: Previous production or warehouse experience is preferred however willing to train those who want to learn

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required

Type: Full-time; Contract

Pay: $17/hour PLUS continuous mentorship and assistance with progressive career placements

Staffing Solutions of Hawaii is seeking Entry Level Warehouse Associates to join our growing and dynamic team!

Job Description:

• Perform daily pre/post operation equipment set-up and storage.
• Perform SOP's associated with processing sprout products. Includes: Harvesting, washing, drying, tying, palletizing and transporting (valid Driver's License required).
• Perform interval SSOP's for cleaning and sanitizing processing equipment and facility.
• Prepare/ validate chemical solutions.
• Record process information on operations forms.
• Comply with GMP, food safety, personal safety and other company policies and procedures.

Position Requirements:

• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the English language; Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written. Position entails talking with co-workers, guests, and outside vendors
• Must possess computer skills, including, but not limited to, Microsoft Word, Excel, and e-mail functions
• Must be able to interact with the Leadership Team, Department Heads and with other associates in a diplomatic and persuasive manner to foster cooperation and positive working relations
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with attention to details
• Must be well-organized and able to work with minimum supervision
• Shift involves standing and walking for an extended period. Repetitive bending, pushing, lifting, carrying, scrubbing, and processing hand movement
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
