Our client in Cuyahoga Falls is looking for Assistant Machine Operators to join their team!

Shift
- 1st Shift Monday - Friday 6:00am to 3:30pm
Pay
- $18-$20/hour based on experience and interview
Responsibilities
- Set Up and Operator multiblade/rewinding machine according to customer specifications
- Start and stop machine. load/feed machine, and monitor machine operations
- Select speeds and feeds and determine operational sequences and tooling arrangements
- Ensures effective operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements
- Monitor production to insure quality and perform verifications and inspections of the product in the machine
- Responsible for operations, loading and unloading material and parts, proving programs, operating controls, setting offsets, deburring, and inspection of quality parts for conformance to requirements
- Troubleshot potential issues with the machine
- Observe flow of material through machine to detect irregular slitting
- Review slitting orders
- Monitors and documents all process parameters
- Maintains accurate scrap and machine productivity documentation
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Maintains clean and safe work area
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1-2 years of machine operating experience
- Mechanically inclined
- Knowledge of machinery and tools
- Must be able to read and write legibly
- Must have basic mathematical concepts and math skills
- Must be able to work from specifications
- Must be able to use a variety of precision measuring instruments
- Must be flexible and able to overtime as needed
- Must be able to work safely and adhere to Safety/ISO guidelines
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds and stand, walk, reach handle, grasp, stoop, bend, kneel, and crouch
