The Radiologic Technologist provides services in one or more of the following in the following modalities: Diagnostic Radiology, Mammography, and Computed Tomography (CT). The Technologists responsibilities include explaining procedures to patients positioning patients and equipment, performing examinations, and maintaining and operating specialized radiologic equipment. The Technologist will perform exams on inpatients, outpatients, and ER patients with in the Health System. Candidate should be an advocate for patients comfort and safety. Candidate will be required to be in the call rotation.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- High school graduate or the equivalent
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiography or Radiologic Technology required
- X-Ray licensure with Ohio Department of Health
- Registered in area(s) of expertise with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Must be cross trained into CT within one year
- BLS certification required
