Spherion here, with another great DIRECT HIRE opportunity! Apply today to join the 2nd shift Fabrication team as a Bake Press Operator at a growing manufacturer in Lake Crystal!
2nd shift hours: Monday - Thursday 4:15 p.m. - 2:45 p.m. overtime on Fridays (as needed)
Pay: $21.00 - $23.50/hour + BENEFITS
As a Brake Press Operator, you will set up and operate the brake press machine that bends parts to be used in the assembly process.
Qualifications:
- Ability to read and comprehend work instructions and blue prints
- Basic math knowledge to set up and operate machines accurately
- Ability to manually move product and materials up to 50 lbs. through physical exertion, overhead hoist, including but not limited to lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling and bending
- Ability to read job specifications to determine machine adjustments utilizing blueprints, measuring devices, and perform basic computer data entry
- Ability to stand and work in various positions on concrete for several hours at a time
- Ability to learn operations of multiple machines/jigs within a job area and must be able to regularly rotate jobs to meet job schedule or team needs
- Must work at a reasonable pace and within our quality standards to insure timely completion of tasks and customer needs
- Past brake press or machining experience is preferred
