Position is on 2nd Shift

Starting rate will be dependent on CNC & Manufacturing Experience!

2nd Shift Hours: Monday- Friday 2:30pm-10:30pm

***5% Shift premium for working 2nd Shift!!!**

Must be able to work overtime as needed

Starting pay will be based on previous CNC experience!!

Position: CNC Machine Operator

This position is responsible for conducting effective and efficient CNC machine operations to produce quality production at specified required rates.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plans and performs adjustments for turning/milling CNC operations in accordance with drawing requirements to maintain quality production of parts.
• Responsible for operating equipment to produce quality parts according to print/PCP specifications.

EDUCATION

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

KNOWLEDGE

• Proven basic understanding/knowledge of Fanuc controls and G code CNC programming for 4 or 5 axis CNC turning equipment including Okuma lathes or comparable equipment.
• Knowledge of machining parts operations to tight tolerances.
• Ability to read and understand mechanical component and part blueprints.
• Proven ability to accurately use a variety of measuring gauges (mics, calipers, comparator, bore gauges, thread gauges-I/D & O/D gauges, indicators, plug gauges, etc.).

EXPERIENCE

Some experience in CNC machining for 4 or 5 axis turning equipment preferred but we will train the right candidate.

Requirement for Employment:

• HS Diploma/ GED required
• Ability to pass criminal background testing
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug testing.
