Role:

The Production Clerk will report to the supervisors and superintendent. The clerk will be responsible for supporting the optimization of the production floor, including but not limited to the boxing, warehouse, and shipping areas. This role will support all facets of the business with HR related task. Production Clerk will work with the superintendent and facility managers/ supervisors to ensure all facets of the production floor.be ran with accuracy. The clerk may work with HR to ensure employees are provided with the knowledge of their attendance and any HR related affairs.

Responsibilities:

  • Scheduling adequate amount of employees per week per position for production to meet demands of orders
  • Monitoring each employees units and inform supervisors of units that reach written notice
  • Schedule requested vacation time for employees and maintain filled positions on the floor
  • Collect paperwork from leads at the end of daily operations and turn into accounting department
  • Work with HR department in any duties that are required for absent personal
  • Organize and coordinate blood drives
  • Assist with coordinating meetings
  • Help on slicing floor coordinating employees for insurance, hearing test , SQF, and LOTO training
  • Document and track personal absenteeism
  • Support actions with management to optimize plant efficiency
  • Assist hourly with questions on attendance
  • Work with Quality Assurance to document sanitation standard operating procedures (SSOP)
