2nd Shift Shop Supervisor

RGS provides its customers with custom aluminum railings for balconies and stairways from designing to installing. We currently have two Fabrication Shops, one located in Waterford, PA and the other in Atlantic, PA . Also, we have just recently opened a brand new, state of the art powder coating facility in Cochranton, PA.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Coach and train all new and current employees on proper processes and procedures.
• Oversees the daily workflow.
• Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
• Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Addresses and resolves production issues and inconsistencies.
• Maintains inventory, which includes keeping records in an inventory management system, acquiring additional stock as required, and distributing items from stock to fulfill requisitions.
• Ensures safe operation of equipment used to move and transport materials to and from the storage areas of the facility.
• Organizes and coordinates activities and staff schedules, ensuring fulfillment goals are met and that shipments are timely, accurate, and undamaged.
• Collaborates with managers to develop and modify processes and procedures.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to read and decipher blueprints and architectural drawings.
• Familiar with welding processes and procedures.
• Efficient verbal and written communication skills.
• Efficient organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience:

• Background in welding and fabrication a plus
• At least two to three years of Background in Powder Coating required (Cochranton Facility)
• At least three years of experience in a related area with supervisory experience required.
• OSHA 10 Certified a Plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
