Job Title: 2nd Shift Quality Control Inspector

Reports To: Plant Operations Manager – Grover Gaming Printing

SUMMARY:
The Quality Control Inspector, is responsible for reviewing products and materials during the manufacturing process to make sure they meet company requirements. Their duties include measuring objects compared to their intended physical specifications, identifying, and communicating required rework, running quality tests, approving product for packaging, and identifying defects.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Understand company Mission, Vision, and Values and be an ambassador of MVV.
  • Very detail oriented
  • One year experience in a Quality role in a printing environment is preferred
  • One year experience with the Serialization process is preferred
  • One year in a manufacturing environment is preferred
  • Must be able to communicate quality concerns in detail to the Press Operators and others in the line of business to ensure all tasks, including rework, are completed in a timely manner
  • Must meet the physical requirements for the position which includes lifting (up to 50 lbs.), standing and bending
  • Responsible for approving finished products, confirming they are ready to be packaged for shipment
  • Must be a team player, adaptable, reliable, and willing to learn
  • Must complete periodic audits of the production process
  • Ability to pass a color test


WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The usual work environment is typical of a warehouse environment. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate with no material or weather-related hazards except those associated with travel.
