Position: Injection Molding Maintenance Technician
Location: Roxboro, NC
Experience: 3+ years of maintenance technician and Injection Molding experience is required; Experience with medium tonnage plastic injection molding machines is strongly preferred (Nissei, Boy, Arburg); Advance Electronics repair, wiring, pneumatics, hydraulics, etc. is a plus
Education: Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent; Two year Technical Degree preferred
Type: Full-time; Direct Hire
Schedule: 2nd shift (3pm - 11pm) or 3rd shift (11p - 7a)
Pay: $30 - $32/hour
Greene Resources is seeking an Injection Molding Maintenance Technician to join a growing and dynamic team! Note: You must have injection molding experience!
Job Description:
- Under general supervision, performs maintenance activities
- Measures and analyzes machine data, determines root cause of failures and recommends resolutions
- The Maintenance Technician will set, adjust, and maintain assigned plastic injection molding techniques and equipment with responsibility for production and efficiency and safety
- Visually inspects and troubleshoots machines and equipment to locate cause of malfunction
- Inspects and measures parts to detect wear, misalignment, or other problems
- Analyzes electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and operational problems in injection molding
- Fabrication and installation of related trades; Perform building maintenance and general carpentry.
Position Requirements:
- Ability to work on injection molding and related equipment
- Knowledge of robot operation (automation)
