Job Summary:
Cutter operator is responsible for the correct processing of tile in accordance with the Cutter operator procedures. This position will setup, monitor, check specks, troubleshoot and correct process, and set throughput of production line.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Follow work instructions sheets.
- Follow quality speck guides.
Essential Functions:
- Ability to maintain work area cleanliness and general housekeeping regarding tile finishing areas.
- Ability to read, write, and follow directions in regards to SOP’s, WI’s, Management instructions, and other job related instructions.
- Basic communication skills required.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to operate and maintain equipment in a safe manner at all times.
- Ability to self-manage, prioritize, multi-task and work under deadlines.
- Ability to perform manual tasks under varying temperatures conditions in usually an indoor manufacturing environment.
- Ability to correctly identify and manually change equipment settings.
- Ability to perceive colors and shading.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position
- Semi-moderate to moderate physical activity.
- Including but not limited to sitting, standing, hand/arm manipulation, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, seeing, touching/feeling, hearing, and crouching.
- Ability to lift up to 75lbs.
Education, Experience, and Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
