8th Grade Math Teacher BFMS Bellows Falls Middle School is looking for a middle school math teacher to join our 8th grade team. As the math teacher you will be responsible for delivering math instruction, being an advisor and participating as a member of the 8th grade team. You will also be responsible maintaining accurate PowerSchool records of student academic progress.Instructional Responsibilities: Planning and presenting math lessons to further students understanding and application of mathematical concepts.Documenting and reporting on students academic progressMaintaining a safe learning environment.Provide additional instructional support to students as needed.Attending meetings with parents and staff as needed.Teacher Requirement: Bachelor's degree in education. Specialization in mathematics, or equivalent.Proven experience as a Math Teacher.A thorough understanding of best practices in teaching.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Organized, flexible disposition.Outstanding interpersonal skills.Proven track record as a collaborative school community member.
