Title: Vendor Relations Specialist

The Vendor Relationship role is a hybrid role applying prospecting activities, relationship building, sales strategies, and exceptional customer service delivery to existing accounts. You will develop strategies to expand the organization’s presence and proactively grow the staffing and recruiting business inside existing customer accounts while ensuring customer satisfaction and contractual SLAs.


As a Vendor Relations Specialist, you will actively collaborate with your colleagues to ensure successful candidate placements against customer job requisitions and throughout the length of the candidate assignment. This role will also contain varying degrees of administrative work, including working with different technology tools (VMS, ATS), submission/presentation of candidates, interview scheduling, negotiating, and reporting.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategies to expand the organization’s presence and proactively grow the staffing and recruiting business inside existing assigned customer accounts.
  • Manage relationships (internal, client, and contractor) throughout the assignment, ensuring account expansion, customer satisfaction, and compliance with contractual SLAs.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with hiring managers to promote and deliver on the organization’s staffing solutions.
  • Actively develop and maintain a new prospect target account list and an existing account expansion plan.
  • Generate staffing solution proposals according to performance goals.
  • Negotiate with the client to establish appropriate bill rates, contract terms, and fees.
  • Acquire new job requisitions according to performance goals.
  • Achieve placement results through job requisitions filled according to performance goals.
  • Consistently utilize company tools to plan and log all activity, notes, and information vital to managing and growing a portfolio of prospective and existing accounts.
  • Work in and maintain the VMS system (supplier side) to manage the staffing and requisitions fulfillment process with a sense of urgency, strong attention to detail, and compliance with program standards.


Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of staffing and recruiting industry experience, ideally in sales or recruiting would be a positive (other industry sales experience will be considered)
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Working knowledge of MSP/Vendor Management Systems (VMS) preferred
  • Performance driven with demonstrated ability to meet goals
  • Strong customer orientation
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and demonstrate proper time management
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent documentation and follow-up skills
