Account Manager - B2B Job at Strayer University
The Account Manager (B2B) serves as a vital member of the Activation Team and is responsible for executing the strategic outreach vision of the team, Enterprise Partnerships and SEI. This role supports corporate and healthcare clients, on an assigned account team, in driving account activation efforts in support new student objectives for Employer Solutions. Activation includes, but is not limited to, creating awareness through communication plans, developing strategic partnerships to uncover organizational needs and create new awareness solutions. A thorough understanding of the organizational needs of the 21st century workforce is critical to develop a meaningful learning solution for employers.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Develop relationships directly with corporate and healthcare accounts to drive engagement.

Be an effective storyteller, with strong presentation skills, who can successfully articulate SEI’s value proposition, overcome objections, and build trust and credibility to influence decision makers and secure business.

Partner with leadership teams across client organizations to plan and execute communication strategies and engagement events.

Coordinate and execute all client-facing and employee-facing outreach events including trade shows, conferences, client meetings and presentations and other events as assigned.

Coordinate and execute all client-facing and employee-facing communications including email campaigns, print and electronic marketing collateral, social media, and other campaigns as assigned.

Generate and refer high-quality student and learner inquiries through virtual and in-person outreach events and refer to assigned enrollment teams.

Utilize data to provide value and drive strategic conversations with accounts.

Develop and manage a network of contacts and referral sources.

Assess client needs and provide feedback to the leadership team.

Collaborate with the larger Activation Team to ensure strategic alignment and adoption of best practices.

Work Experience:

Four to six years’ experience with demonstrated success in account management, business development, corporate outreach and lead generation; preferably in the education industry.
Education:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required.
Other:

Must be able to travel up to 25% of time.

Must be able to lift 25 lbs.

Typical office setting.

Mobility within the office including movement from floor to floor.

Travel via plane, car, and metro may be required to perform this job.

Must be able to work more than 40 hours per week when business needs warrant.
