PromptCare is currently in search of an Account Manager (Bleeding Disorders). This is a full-time position and will cover the areas of Boston, NYC and Philadelphia.

Job Summary:

The Account Manager is responsible for maximizing sales for the hemophilia business unit at The PromptCare Companies. They must maintain a high level of knowledge on the disease state, work closely with Hemophilia Treatment Centers (HTC), Institutions, HCPs, and Patient Advocacy Groups and Chapters (local, state, regional).

Requirements:
  • College Degree preferred.
  • Driver’s License.
  • Previous sales experience. 4 years of medical, pharmaceutical, specialty pharmacy or healthcare sales experience preferred.

  • Excellent problem solving and negotiating skills


Job Responsibilities, included but not limited to:

  • Achieve area sales objectives, market penetration, market share, and revenue/margin targets on a quarterly & annual basis
  • Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with all key stakeholders including: HTC's, Institutions, Hematologists, state/local/regional Patient Advocacy Groups, and any potential treater/staff for all Bleeding Disorders
  • Obtain new business by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential referral sources or customers
  • Create and implement an effective business plan to guide strategy, tactics, and track progress
  • Act in compliance within a highly regulated industry and consistent with training, policies, guidelines, and their own best judgment while adhering to all company policies assigned
  • Attend identified forums & conferences while positively representing The PromptCare Companies
  • Collaborate with other Account Managers, Sales Leaders, Marketing, Managed Care and Trade Relations teams in the development of programs supporting the bleeding disorder strategy and objectives, both short and long term
  • Maintain and enhance existing business relationships while identifying and developing new business opportunities
  • Continuously strive to improve processes, service quality to internal and external stakeholders
  • Recommend changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments
  • Prepares bi-weekly report by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing territory activity
  • Must be willing to travel 50-80% of the time, including overnights and weekends
  • Perform other duties as assigned
