The Account Manager - Connected Sales Position

Sunnova Energy Corporation is looking for an Account Manager - Connected Sales. The Account Manager (AM) leads our team to have successful relationships with our originators and installers. As the primary point of contact for assigned partners, the AM drives revenue for our business by helping partners to resolve issues with meeting objectives and participating in the development of marketing and sales strategies. The position requires excellent communication skills, a “customer first” attitude and someone who is a true team player. Through this position you will work directly with origination and installation partners and manage their relationship and drive growth for both partners. This position is a mix of business development, account management and project management. Sunnova is a dynamic company, looking for motivated people to impact results as part of our team.


Account Manager - Connected Sales
Responsibilities
  • Drives sales, installations, and customer growth to meet or exceed business goals
  • Defines originators quarterly and annual sales goals and provide them with installation partners to support their growth with Sunnova
  • Proactively manages relationships between originators and installers and troubleshoot any issues
  • Identifies, researches, and resolves partner issues using analytical skills and Salesforce Client Relationship Management (CRM)
  • Delivers training and effective coaching to originators and installers
  • Monitors progression on systems, troubleshoot, intervene and drive results through influencing partner behaviors
  • Develops new processes and procedures to help originators and installers meet company goals

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree with some quantitative studies in Business, Marketing,
    or Finance
  • 5+ years of professional experience in account management, sales operations, project management and related roles
  • Salesforce software experience or working knowledge required
  • 2+ years of routine use of Excel for data extraction, analysis and graphic communication of insights required
  • Proven use of analytical skills with understanding of business concepts i.e., forecasting performance metrics, SLAs

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in residential solar sales, insurance sales, or home improvement sales highly desirable

  • Team player that behaves ethically, with highest degree of integrity always
  • Ability to make insightful and relevant recommendations based on findings from data analytics
  • Strong communications skills and the ability to create relationships with outside partners to effectively influence behavior
  • Very strong organizational and verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to adapt and work in an open, fast-paced, collaborative environment both in-office and remotely
