ACT is seeking an Accountant responsible for the general ledger and monthly closing processes, maintaining the cost accounting system used to cost and price quotes and proposals, preparation of all monthly account reconciliations, preparation of monthly adjusting journal entries, assisting in the preparation of monthly financial statements and posting and processing accounts payable transactions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field or equivalent commensurate education and experience
  • 2+ years of experience in accounting preferred
  • Understanding of and ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
  • Experience in financial systems and work measurement systems, including Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems
  • Strong communication and analytical skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
