Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30 am – 4:00 pm
Company/Position Overview: Our client provides specialty construction (waterproofing) services to residential and commercial customers. Broomfield office has about 15 employees, with 30 other employees working in the field. Reporting to the President the Accountant is responsible for all aspects of accounting from A-Z.
Responsibilities:
- Complete month-end process including reconciliations and preparing financial reports for management
- Complete payroll taxes and W-2 preparation
- File estimated taxes
- Complete sales and use tax filings
- Prepare and review all certified payroll documents
- Enter weekly A/P invoice run
- Conduct regular review of Accounts Receivable Aging report
- Record General Entries
- Account reconciliations
- Close month-end, prepare financials
- Record and track all employee deductions
- Update and maintain all documentation pertaining to business licenses, annual or recurring contracts, and/or leases
- Prepare and notarize liens and intent to liens
- Receive, enter, and maintain inventory
- Maintain all financials related to company vehicles/fleet
Qualifications:
- High school diploma, some college desired
- 3+ years of financial and/or accounting experience, including job costing and sales and use tax
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Detailed and organized
- Reliable and strong work ethic
