Accounting Assistant Job at Terra Stoneworks
We are seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our growing team! The Accounting Assistant will report directly to the Controller and be responsible for inputting data related to each job as well as helping process documents. In this role, you will perform various tasks related to billing, payroll, reconciliation, filing paperwork, and scanning documents.

Compensation:
- Salary: $40,000 - $50,000 per year

Responsibilities:- Data entry
- Coordinate and manage payment and billing details
- Support vendor relations
- Answer telephone
- Reconcile accounting paperwork, verify payments and deposits
- Miscellaneous tasks as needed/requested by Controller
- Energetic and focused personality with a demonstrated ability to take initiative, successfully handle and prioritize multiple competing assignments and effectively manage deadlines.
- The employee must be able to concentrate on details, work under deadline pressures, apply sound logic and judgment, and prioritize tasks and responsibilities
- Must be able to focus and multi-task in busy environment, with the ability to successfully handle stressful situations in a calm and professional manner.
- Minimum High school diploma and some college required
- Microsoft Excel experience
- Preferred: CPA
TERRA Stoneworks is a wholesale granite, quartz and marble countertop provider in the DC Metro/DELMARVA regions.
