Accounting Assistant to the GM

The Position: We’re looking for an Accounting Assistant to the GM. The pay range we’re offering is $45k - $48k

Requirements:

• Great customer service and interpersonal skills
• Multi-task and work under time constraints
• Collaboration and teamwork skills
• Project management abilities, including multitasking, prioritization, and deadline management
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Good math skills
• Keen attention to detail

Responsibilities:

• Assist GM with sales and financial reporting and everyday tasks
• Working knowledge of accounting and financial processes.
• Back up office accountant for payroll and state tax payments

• Enter and review payables and accounts to ensure that information is properly recorded, and the records contain appropriate authorization for payment
• Administer and ensure that entered items have the correct job codes to pay clients and employees properly. Maintain proper back up files for research and reference. Record administrative and office expenses. Monitor accounts to ensure that payments are up to date
• Ensure the completeness and accuracy of data on accounts
• Review invoices and statements to ensure that all the information appearing on them is accurate and complete
