We currently seek to fill the role of Accounting Associate to perform daily accounting activities in support of Valon Kone North America (VKNA), Nicholson Manufacturing Company (NMC), and the Kadant Black Clawson (KBC) Finance Departments, all while advancing KBC’s mission of being a forward-thinking, collaborative, and ethical business. This role will be eligible for hybrid work (WFH 2 days per week) after all onboarding and training has been successfully completed.
Responsibilities:
- Performs accounts payable processing for VKNA & NMC.
- Reviews and enters VKNA & NMC employee travel expense reports.
- Processes all forms of disbursements both domestic and international for VKNA and NMC.
- Manages and distributes annual 1099 forms for KBC, VKNA, & NMC.
- Completes bi-weekly payroll and uploading of all benefit activity and funding for VKNA and NMC
- Backup for KBC payroll as needed, completing a payroll each quarter staying current on process
- Support entry of KBC AP invoices as needed
- Special projects as assigned

Requires an Associate’s Degree in Accounting (or evidence of courses taken towards degree with 3-5 years’ experience in accounting).

Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills required.

Accounting experience working within an integrated ERP system required.

PC skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel are also a necessity.
