About the role
The Finance team is deeply ingrained in all functional areas of the business and partners heavily with leaders across the company. We are building a best-in-class team of financial professionals and tools to support accounting, controllership as well as planning and analysis and drive solutions that improve the overall operation of the Company. We are seeking a professional who will primarily support the A/P function in processing high volume of invoices and responding to inquiries but will also support month end close procedures including reconciliations for various legal entities, and special projects.
What you'll do
- Review and approve invoices for accuracy of expenditure coding (including general ledger and other financial dimensions)
- Perform three-way match reconciliations and coordinate with Supply Chain teams to investigate and resolve purchase price and quantity variances
- Monitor email inboxes to ensure all requests are responded to in a timely manner
- Manage TripActions, our comprehensive T&E system to ensure proper coding of expenses and receipt retention
- Support monthly financial close process, including preparing account reconciliations
- Onboard new vendors in ERP
- Manage vendor 1099 filings and year end reporting requirements
- Review and monitor A/P aging and exception reports such as invoices on hold, invoices pending approval, pending G/L coding, etc.
- Maintain and publish monthly A/P key performance indicators
- Assist with preparation of tax filings (sales tax, commercial rent tax etc.)
- Evaluate processes and procedures to identify areas that can be improved for better efficiency and controls through automation
- Assist with external audit, compliance, and special projects as necessary
The experience you have
- 2+ years working experience working as an Accounting Associate
- A/P full lifecycle knowledge
- Three-way-match reconciliation
- Bank and credit card reconciliation
- Strong use of Excel (sumifs, v/xlookup, pivot tables, etc.)
- Basic understanding of principles of accounting, specifically including accruals
- ERP experience, preferably Microsoft Finance & Operations (Dynamics 365)
- Travel & expense tool experience, preferably TripActions
- Purchase order system and expense tool experience

Base Salary Range: $65,000 - $90,000
