RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervises a team of 7 DQAs (Data Quality Auditors), a mix of exempt and non-exempt employees.
• Supervises both store level cash and restaurant inventory.
• The Cash team is responsible for performing an in-depth audit of all aspects of store’s daily information– including cash, credit cards, money orders, lottery, fuel, and merchandise sales.
• The Restaurant team is responsible for analyzing restaurant sales, inventory, and cost of sales to ensure proper margin is being reported.
• The team also assists with the protection of company assets by identifying, researching, and developing solutions to shortages.
• Using sales and financial trend data, and the overall knowledge of store P&L statements, the DQA researches multiple reports from a variety of sources to determine the root cause of financial issues at stores.
• DQAs identify and correct entries that are flagged due to system or store keying errors and ensures all errors are resolved prior to month end close.
• DQAs function as customer service support for stores and their inquiries related to transactions and paperwork submissions.
• Develops and implements new processes for internal DQA team to run more efficiently while also participating in the creation of new policies for store level operations.
• Works in tandem with General Ledger team, Restaurant team, Asset Protection, and Operations and escalates issues as appropriate.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 5+ years relevant work experience.
• 2+ years of supervising a team of 3 or more individuals.
• Creates a culture of accountability and extreme ownership.
• Dedicated to process – creating processes, ensuring others follow the process, and utilizing process improvement.
• Prioritizes time and business impact.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Self-starter who works with minimum supervision.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
