The Position:
The Accounts Payable Analyst role will handle the payment of corporate invoices for the company. It will also include communication with vendors and branch employees to resolve problems and inquiries.
Responsibilities:
Level I:
- Data entry of invoices.
- Problem resolution regarding invoices.
- Participate in bi-weekly processing of payout.
- Filing of invoices.
- Communication with branch locations, corporate accounting staff and vendors.
- Other duties as assigned.
Level II
- Higher degree of capability and proficiency in all aspects of performance as compared to Accounts Payable Associate I.
Level III
- Higher degree of capability and proficiency in all aspects of performance as compared to Accounts Payable II.
Requirements:
- Education: High school graduate, Accounting degree preferred
- Skills: Strong background with MS Office programs: Word, Excel
- Previous experience using JD Edwards or ERP or similar account position.
- Clear understanding of Accounting Principles.
- Excellent communication and organization skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Previous experience with data entry
- Travel: None.
