We are currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Accounting Assistant to join our accounting team. In this crucial role, you will provide comprehensive accounting to support our controller and other managers, ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our operations.

What You’ll Do:

• 
  Accounts payable tasks, including invoice processing, approvals, and record keeping, check printing\ Maintain vendor records, handle inquiries, and ensure compliance with vendor requirements.

• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.

• Minimal account receivable

• Enter daily sales into the general ledger system and ensure accurate record-keeping.

• Support the controller in various accounting tasks, such as account reconciliations, sales tax and journal entries.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

• 
  High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

• 3+ years of relevant experience and/or training in accounting or bookkeeping

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to meet deadlines

• Ability to handle confidential and complex situations with professionalism and discretion

• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Strong command of QuickBooks Desktop

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel

Compensation:

Salary range between $25.00 - $28.00 hourly – may be eligible for additional, discretionary incentive compensation based on the individual and the company’s performance.
