Accounts Receivable Clerk Job at Clinical Reference Laboratory
GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITY: Responsible for assisting A/R in the preparation of invoices, preparing and posting payments/adjustments, and assist A/R with daily tasks as needed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Prepare and code the daily deposit.
- Post and balance payments and adjustments on all CRL systems.
- Review On Account cash in Oracle and apply as necessary.
- Prepare month-end reports and distribute to appropriate personnel.
- Assist in preparation of monthly A/R invoices for mailing.
- Assist with researching and preparing adjustments.
- Assist in resetting Tox Billing Flags.
- Convert aging reports into Excel format.
- Assist in processing credit card payments.
- Research refund request, prepare adjustment and check request.
- Assist in mailing and tracking of collection letters.
- Order department office supplies.
- Assist with processing FedEx rebills.
- Assist the Executive Director and Senior Accounting Manager as needed.
- Maintain and protect the confidentiality of all CRL, CRL subsidiaries, legal entities and client information.
- Be able to comply with all applicable federal, state, and local safety and health regulations that would apply to this job.
Keep work area neat and clean

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent
EXPERIENCE: 1 year experience in A/P, A/R and/or payroll data entry experience

OTHER: Overtime and weekends are necessary to meet monthly deadlines; occasional travel for training.
