For our MIR and AMMEGA Accounting/Finance team, we are currently looking for an
Accounts Receivable Specialist
As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be responsible for recording, verifying, and maintaining accounts receivable information. You will report to the Accounts Receivable Manager and be part of the Finance team. In this role, you will be based in St. Louis, Missouri.
A day in the life of an Accounts Receivable Specialist can look like
- Interacting extensively with customers and MIR branch employees.
- Utilizing customer service skills to contact customers regarding open invoices and payment status via fax, email, and telephone.
- Working closely with various branch locations to investigate and resolve accounts receivable discrepancies.
- Creating and maintaining daily, weekly, and monthly reporting.
- Setting up and contacting new customers.
- Maintaining customer files, orders & invoices daily.
- Recording daily bank deposits, ACH payments, and credit card transactions.
- Assisting in monthly and annual closings.
- Working with the Controller to investigate, correct, and follow up on any inaccuracies identified.
- Providing support to Controller as requested.

- A High School diploma.
- Up to two (2) years of related customer service or accounting experience.
- Experience with Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
