Job Description
In this role you will provide full-spectrum ACQUISITION PROGRAM MANAGEMENT support to the GLOBAL HAWK PROGRAM OFFICE within the US Air Force Life Cycle Management Center at Robins, AFB, Georgia.
DCS has been awarded a multi-year contract to support Global Hawk acquisition and sustainment programs for the USAF and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers Japan, South Korea, and NATO.
Essential Job Functions:
In addition to tasks and responsibilities related to the specific project, all team members must perform the various common programmatic duties to enable the accomplishment of the Global Hawk acquisition mission, to include:
Manage and monitor their assigned program to include program of record changes, cost/schedule/performance issues, risks, and contract status.
Provide expertise to assist government personnel in developing acquisition strategies supported by sound business cases analysis and documentation.
Areas of effort will include the development pre-award Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) sustainment elements, including Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), Justification and Approval (J&A) documents, Requests for Authority (RAD) to develop international agreements, and Contractual Delivery Requitements (CDRL).
Required Skills:
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
Possess a Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) degree, along with 12 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, 5 of which must be in the DoD.
An adjudicated DoD SECRET Security clearance on the First Day of employment.
Personnel at the Senior level shall possess the advanced knowledge, experience and recognized ability to be considered an expert in their technical/professional field, and possess the ability to perform tasks and oversee the efforts of junior and journeyman personnel within the technical/professional discipline.
