Summary Description: To support adults/children with intellectual disabilities in their homes and in the community by overseeing the day to day operations of a residential program; to assist in developing, implementing and completing action steps in pursuit of achieving goals as defined in the individual’s plan.
Responsibilities:
- Enhancing the lives of the adults by ensuring they receive all the supports they require as individuals.
- Assist to supervise and lead a team of employees.
- Household management and financial management per agency policy
- On-call responsibilities
- Provide and ensure the provision of direct supports and services to the programs residents, and provide coverage as needed.
- Assist to develop person-centered programming (goals, activities, supports, services, etc.) based on individuals interests, needs and abilities while ensuring that accurate data is collected.
- Behavioral and emotional supports.
- Administers medications according to Harc and Department of Developmental Services policies.
- Assist to develop and implement all protocols and guidelines as established by the planning and Support Team.
- Assist to ensure all resident medical issues are being addresses; appointments attended and provide any necessary follow-up.
Harc conducts background checks and verifies COVID-19 vaccination status as part of the hiring process.
