Adjunct - School of Accountancy Job at Long Island University
The School of Professional Accountancy at Long Island University seeks qualified and committed Adjunct Faculty for the 2021/2022 academic year, who are enthusiastic teachers and dedicated to working with undergraduates.
The primary responsibilities are to teach upper and lower level undergraduate courses in Accounting and/or Finance with the possibility of teaching select graduate courses.
Applicants should possess:
- Ability to effectively teach in a close, collegial environment dedicated to the teaching-learning relationship.
- Strong commit to excellence in teaching and to working in a multicultural environment that fosters diversity.
- Ability to use technology effectively in teaching and learning.
- Provide quality teaching including related preparation and grading.
- Provide class syllabi to students enrolled in classes and to the department office as requested.
- Perform other related duties as assigned and/or required.
Required Qualifications
An earned Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field and related professional work experience are required.
Preferred Qualifications
A CPA license and college-level teaching experience are preferred.
