The Opportunity

Florence Corporation, the nations leading manufacturer in quality mailboxes, storage solutions and service is now hiring an Adjuster to work as a Production Team on the assembly line. Adjusters act as inspectors and are responsible for ensuring that all mailbox units are assembled properly, free of quality defects, and fully functional to meet customer expectations. Manufacturing experience is preferred but we are flexible to train a great candidate.

2nd shift hours:

• 3:30pm to 2:00am Monday through Thursday, with some mandatory or volunteer Fridays

Adjuster Team Member Pay and Benefits:

• $18.00 per hour (with 2nd shift differential)
• Quarterly bonus payments
• Overtime pay available

What you'll do

• Must be able to effectively use drills, screw guns, rivet guns, wrenches, ratchets, screwdrivers, hammers, grinders, cut-off tool, electric power lifts, manual pallet jacks and tape dispensers.
• Must be comfortable with basic computer and math skills.
• Participate in problem solving as directed
• Discuss critical to quality items for assigned station
• Maintain line pace without help from other employees or team leader
• Ability to work with minimal Supervision.
• Willingness to follow verbal and written work instructions read and follow prints and routers.
• The ability to understand quality requirements and to monitor production.
• Ability to communicate critical to quality items for assigned station

What we need

• Must be able to stand, lift, bend and carry up to 50 lbs
• Must be on time and maintain good attendance
• Must be able to perform basic mathematical operations
• Must be able to read and understand the English language
• Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screen
