Glenwood, Inc. is a progressive multi-site agency that provides a full range of services for children and adults with autism and other mental health needs. Glenwood is looking for a highly motivated, technology savvy, detail-oriented individual to join our Education Services team. They will provide administrative support for Allan Cott and Lakeview Schools providing a broad and varied role, with tasks being allocated by multiple people at a variety of levels across the division.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILIES:

  • Report events to Therap Incident Management and Prevention System as indicated by Supervisor.
  • Complete inter-agency reports as required, i.e., Medical and COVID reports.
  • Complete inter-departmental reports – i.e., Utilization Management/Utilization Review.
  • Prepare and Schedule meetings in person and virtually.
  • Assist with billing function as needed by Director.
  • Securely maintains and manages confidential education files for students.
  • Assists and accompanies school staff on student medical appointments as needed.
  • Assist supervisor with management of Title funding files.
  • Coordinates with local schools in obtaining new students education files and transferring files for withdrawn students.
  • Manage contact information need by the division and deliver communications.
  • Organizing division schedules, events and files with a system that is user friendly to everyone.
  • Perform other duties as assigned as needed by leadership


COMPETENCIES:

  • Understands of clerical procedures and systems such as recordkeeping and filing
  • Demonstrates ability to work independently and take initiative within the scope of work.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with peers and leadership orally and in writing.
  • Demonstrates working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Software Suite.
  • Detail-oriented and thorough
  • Ability to anticipate the needs of the division and complete tasks without needing to be asked.
  • Manages time efficiently and prioritizes tasks while maintaining quality standards
  • Possesses good judgment and ability to make good decisions.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

  • Displays a professional attitude and demeanor.

EXPERIENCE: 3+ year(s) of administrative experience in the mental health field preferred


EDUCATION/LICENSING/CERTIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent is required
  • BS or BA degree in business, office administration, or related filed is preferred

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must clear all background checks and pre-hire testing.
