Summary
The Administrative Assistant is responsible for supporting the Site Manager by managing daily vendor and customer communication and performing other office related tasks.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Completes inventory of office supplies, breakroom supplies, and shop supplies as needed.
· Completes daily invoicing for the site.
· Reviews WIP valuation report daily and works with the Workflow Specialist to enhance production.
· Greets all incoming visitors and performs Visual Compliance to determine access.
· Answers incoming phone calls and directs them to the appropriate party.
· Assists Human Resources Manager with new hire onboarding process and DOT drug program.
· Provides administrative support to accounting department as needed.
· Quotes customer orders.
· Assists the Site Manager and the Workflow Specialist with outside vendor unit tracking and expedites those items as required.
· Assists with tracking warranty claims.
· Other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience
· High School Diploma or equivalent required.
· At least two years previous administrative support or customer service experience.
· Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred, but not required.

Position is based in a climate controlled, professional office environment with moderate noise levels. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and filing cabinets. The job may require long periods of sitting or standing and could require lifting of up to 20lbs.
Although the position will have limited interaction on the production floor, the employee may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles while on the production floor so use of personal protective equipment will be required in some areas of the production facility.
The selection of the person to be hired for this position is contingent on the candidate having export compliance eligibility for access to U.S. controlled technology which comes under the licensing jurisdiction of the U.S. Department of State, International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the U.S. Department of Commerce, Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
