Administrative Assistant Job at The Kearney Companies
SCOPE OF JOB:
Considered the company ambassador, the Receptionist is often the first point of contact between The Kearney Companies, customers and vendors. Solid interpersonal skills are a requirement of this position.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
· Light accounting duties
· Facilitate employment process by providing applications and reviewing for completion
· Answer phones, transfer calls to appropriate party
· Check voicemails and distribute messages from general mailbox
· Date stamp and distribute all mail
· Maintain postage meter for outgoing mail
· FedEx packages – typing labels and arranging either drop off or pick up of packages
· Receive and sign for packages and either distribute or notify recipients
· Arrange courier service or deliveries as necessary
· Fax documents as necessary
· Keep organization to the office supply & break areas; notify Office Manager when re-order is necessary
· Perform clerical duties such as typing letters, filing, photocopying and collating as needed
· Assist Project Managers by helping to set up new job files; including creating the job info sheets for foremen
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
