GEM Technologies, Inc. (GEM) is seeking a Administrative Assistant, Benefits to join our team at the Pantex Plant in Amarillo, TX, which provides integral mission support to the NNSA. The ideal candidate has employee benefits experience and prior experience handling military, FMLA and short-term disability leave of absences as they will be assisting with administrative functions of the Human Resources Department. *This position is full-time and will serve the Pantex Plant in Amarillo, TX.

Requirements:
- High School Diploma and 2+ years of relevant experience.
- Must have experience handling and explaining employee benefits.
- Must have experience handling military, FMLA and short-term disability leave of absences.
- Must have general knowledge of office software and experience working in an office environment.
- To be considered, you must be able to obtain and maintain a government issued clearance, if needed.
- Due to the nature of the work, a U.S. Citizenship is required.
Clearance Level Required:
Uncleared - Must be able to obtain and maintain a Clearance
Overview:
- Perform general filing cleanup.
- Assist with employee benefit information.
- Scan paper files into electronic folders.
- Organize electronic files.
- Perform quality checks over electronic files.
- Archive electronic files to the enterprise record system.
- Perform other general administrative duties as assigned.
