Administrative Assistant/Receptionist Job at Mid-America Publishing
The Leader, Garner's premier newspaper is now interviewing for an administrative assistant in our downtown Garner location. This is a part-time position 9-3pm and hours would be appx. 28-32 hours per week with potential for full time for the right candidate.
The assistant's responsibilities will include customer service such as greeting the public and answering phones and email: office admin, including data entry, proofreading and supporting the staff in the production of the Leader, and sales support in the form of working together with the salesperson to take ads and make sure they are run in the newspaper. Other admin task as necessary such as retyping legal notices, courthouse news, police logs and press releases to be run in the paper. If you can take photos and write a bit there would be additional duties.
