The Administrative Coordinator (AC) assists the College of Graduate & Continuing Studies (CGCS) with the day-to-day operations related to the School of Nursing's (SON's) online Nursing programs delivered by the CGCS.

Hybrid schedule may be authorized.

Salary: $20.00/per hour or more, depending on experience.

Essential Functions

  • Processes invoices from preceptors.
  • Processes reimbursement for faculty nursing licensure.
  • Tracks and archives faculty licenses.
  • Assists the Associate Program Director - Online Nursing Programs (APD-ONP) in maintaining faculty database to ensure regulatory compliance is met.
  • Orders faculty desk copies of textbooks.
  • Assists the ADP-ONP with faculty onboarding.
  • Creates faculty teaching contracts (using approved CGCS processes and systems).
  • Assists the ADP-ONP in ensuring classroom readiness.
  • Assigns faculty to students based on geographic residence (state licensure requirements) using faculty database.
  • Sets up meetings; keeps minutes as required for accreditation.
  • Prepares agendas and collect materials for meetings.
  • Runs various reports for staff and faculty.
  • Coordinates with CGCS staff for shared expense allocation related to the program.
  • Assists with annual review of online Student Handbooks.

  • Maintains confidentiality of sensitive or private information.
  • Communicates with employees, students, and others in a respectful and clear manner.
  • Serves on University committees, councils, workgroups, or other designated bodies as assigned.
  • Achieves, maintains proficiency in and utilize computers, telephones, and other job-related equipment, including related systems and software.
  • Speaks, reads, and writes in English.
  • Communicates by telephone, email, letter, in person, or other means or device.
  • Performs other tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Job Requirements:
  • Some college required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 2 years in an office setting, preferably in higher education
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams)
  • Knowledge of database functions
  • Experience in customer service
  • Able to sit, squat, reach, push, pull, and manipulate related equipment; lift 15 pounds; travel outdoors to various parts of the campus

Environmental Conditions

  • Indoor work at a computer workstation.
  • Low level of exposure to noise, dust, fumes, vibrations, and temperature changes.
