Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year in legal, employment law, or job-related experience
• Knowledge of Civil Procedures (998s); Title VII, ADA, Wage & Hour
• Bachelor’s Degree or currently enrolled in an accredited law school
• Proficient Skills in Microsoft Office Suite

Job Description:

This role supports the in-house Legal Team and outside counsel for GT’s Living Foods, the office of the CEO as well as other areas of the business. Critical responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

• Assisting legal team members by assembling and organizing information for legal forms and documents, including complaints, declarations, discovery requests, responses, and other pleadings
• Research active cases by partnering with Human Resources and other business functions throughout the business
• Assembles case materials by collecting, organizing, and summarizing information, documents, reports, and evidence
• Maintains calendar by entering and updating requirements, court dates and meetings
• Assists in preparing for court hearings, depositions and other legal proceedings
• Assisting with various administrative tasks in collaboration with other departments or assistants
