The Somerset/Hunterdon/Warren Vicinage is seeking an individual with excellent organizational, effective communication and strong interpersonal skills to join the Family division. Under the direction of the Family Division Manager, this individual will provide extensive administrative support, including but not limited to, ordering supplies, facilitating and overseeing the record retention process of Family Division files, including determination of space allocation within the Vicinage and maintenance of the Destruction List. Other duties include facilitating access for new and existing staff to internal and external systems, such as eCourts, FACTS, NJKIDS, NJSPIRIT and troubleshooting any issues that may arise; creation and maintenance of the Family Division Master Calendar, Trend Reports, Division specific forms and Family Division phone directory. The individual will act as the liaison between the FDM and the Assignment Judge, Judges, law clerks, Trial Court Administrator, Court Executives, supervisory personnel, professional and clerical staff, as well as internal and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will be responsible for specialized functions, such as ensuring the Division is in compliance with mandatory trainings. The selected candidate should also possess strong analytical and problem solving skills; must be self-directed, motivated and result oriented; flexible and open to change by adapting behavior in response to new information, situations, or unexpected obstacles to ensure Division goals are met.
REMOTE WORK: The Judiciary currently offers a hybrid work schedule, and this position may qualify for up to 2 days of remote work outside of Judiciary buildings. To participate in this program, you will be required to have high speed home internet access.
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree.
Substitution: Applicants who do not possess the required education may substitute additional paraprofessional and/or professional experience on a year-for-year basis with one year of such experience being equal to 30 semester hour credits. An associate's degree and two years of additional paraprofessional and/or professional experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

Authorization to Work: US citizenship is not required. Selected candidate must be authorized to work in the US according to Department of Homeland Security, US Citizenship and Immigration Services regulations.

Residency Law: Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 52:14-7 (L. 2011, Chapter 70), also known as the "New Jersey First Act," all persons newly hired by the Judiciary must establish, and then maintain, principal residence in the State of New Jersey.
