Administrative Support Job at Sheakley Group, Inc
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs various duties within the department up to and including; prepping (indexing) documents, printing various letters, scanning documents, running various computer programs and reports, opening and distributing mail, and fulfilling requests for medical.
- Opening, sorting and distributing departmental mail daily
- Scanning documents, including incoming mail into system daily
- Prepping (indexing) documents in the imaging system for distribution to appropriate staff members daily
- Ability to pull documents from various sources, ensure appropriate date stamps and conversion into UniSource
- Accurately completing all indexing fields, as appropriate
- Printing various letters to be distributed to clients, injured workers, attorneys, Third Party Administrators (TPAs) and other parties daily
- Fulfills requests for medical documentation from various parties to the claim
- Run various letter programs and reports as required by the department
- Fills employers supply requests and sends out new employer starter packets
- Identifies documents to be shredded
- Ability to process and complete Change of Physician (C-23) forms within one (1) business day turnaround
- Assist with New Hire training and re-training as assigned
- Upholds individual quality and productivity requirements as well as team goals and requirements
- Other duties as assigned by Team Leader and/or Management

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Knowledge and skills at a level normally acquired through the completion of a High School education or equivalent experience
- Good computer skills
- Typing - 30 to 40 WPM
- Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Ability to lift, file, reach and carry up to 25 pounds
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products - Word, Excel, etc.
- Organization, attention to detail, flexibility and strong ability to multi-task
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment without direct supervision and able to demonstrate considerable initiative
