Job Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced ServiceNow Administrator to join our team. As a ServiceNow Administrator, you will be responsible for the overall administration, configuration, and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform. This is a full-time, permanent or contract position with the flexibility of remote work.
Responsibilities:
- Administer and configure the ServiceNow platform to meet business requirements.
- Perform regular maintenance activities, including system upgrades, patching, and performance tuning.
- Manage user access, roles, and permissions within the ServiceNow environment.
- Implement and maintain IT service management processes, including incident management, problem management, and change management.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into ServiceNow configurations.
- Develop and customize ServiceNow modules using JavaScript, Angular, and other web technologies.
- Integrate ServiceNow with external systems through REST API, SOAP API, and other integration methods.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy within the Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
- Provide support and troubleshooting for ServiceNow-related issues and incidents.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest ServiceNow features and enhancements, recommending and implementing improvements to optimize platform usage.
Requirements:
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Proven experience as a ServiceNow Administrator, managing and configuring the ServiceNow platform.
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow modules, including incident management, problem management, and change management.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Angular, and web technologies for customization and enhancement purposes.
- Experience with integrating ServiceNow with external systems using REST API, SOAP API, and other methods.
- Familiarity with the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and data management best practices.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills:
- ServiceNow certifications such as Certified System Administrator or Certified Implementation Specialist.
- Knowledge of ITIL best practices and their application in ServiceNow.
- Experience with ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, GRC, or other ServiceNow modules.
- Familiarity with IT service management processes and workflows.
