The Admissions Counselor is responsible for substantial recruitment of prospective freshman and transfer students through school visits, college fairs and information sessions.
UMBC offers competitive compensation. This role starts at $45,000 and has over 4 weeks of vacation for regular full time roles. Tuition remission is also available.

The Admissions Counselor serves as a member of the Undergraduate Admissions and Orientation professional staff that is responsible for the recruitment of prospective first-year and transfer students through high school and college visits, college fairs and one-on-one meetings. The Admissions Counselor presents information sessions to visitors on UMBC academic and co-curricular programming and promotes key pillars of UMBC community, renders admissions decisions, applies university policies and performs other duties as assigned. This position is a key component to meeting institutional enrollment goals.
