Job Description Summary
As a Test Systems Engineer, you'll be responsible for extending to the design and development of test system software and hardware within the operations environments of the Integrated Supply chain. You will develop distributed software applications and hardware designs for real-time automated test system solutions. Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead test system development on National Instruments based standard test platform for new product introductions, including concept, architecture, documentation, design/code development, prototype, test, supplier interfaces, manufacturing introduction and service.
- Responsible to identify hardware in test system and design product interface fixture needed to fulfil product test requirements.
- Engage in technical discussions; participate in technical designs and present technical ideas.
- Responsible for test coverage, performance and on-time delivery.
- Ensure early focus on manufacturability in NPI and/or Advanced Technology programs.
- Ensure regulatory compliance through Qualification & Validation. Responsible for ensuring rigor in determining processes requiring validation, development of plans and analysis criteria, execution and final analysis and acceptance.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or in a Science Major (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) and 4 years’ experience in development of automated test systems.
- Minimum 5 years of post-bachelor professional experience in related field OR Master’s degree with 3 years of post-doctorate professional experience related field.
- Minimum of 4 years National Instruments LabVIEW and/or TestStand experience.
