Your tasks

• Developing and leading initiatives in the organization to elevate performance to world class manufacturing.
• Creating best in class in quality, delivery, customer satisfaction, preferred workplace and cost.
• Responsible for development of technical and operating strategies regarding the manufacturing of plastic parts and the related systems, developing standards and ensuring that all company procured or modified equipment is compliant with those standards and executed within the project or program deliverables (safety, cost, quality and delivery.)
• Provide technical leadership and expertise as an internal resource for industry leading manufacturing equipment and processing activities. Participate in the sign-off and acceptance of initial process operations/technical plans, drawings, equipment design, and on-going process improvements.
• Ensure all equipment executed in GF factories comply with Industry (ANSI, ISO, NFPA) and Governmental Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) standards, as well as all relative GF tooling and equipment standards. Provide technical leadership and expertise as an internal resource for industry leading manufacturing equipment and processing activities. Participate in the sign-off and acceptance of initial process operations/technical plans, drawings, equipment design, and on-going process improvements.
• Coordinate and manage control systems for capital equipment procurement projects: Including specification development utilizing GF & industry standards, supplier selection, early supplier engagement, technical reviews, factory layout development, installation and qualification of equipment. Ensure all tooling and equipment is reliable and robust and designed to maximize Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
• Lead teams across the business as required during tooling/equipment procurement process, design, build, qualification, installation and commissioning.
• Responsible for introducing new technologies and production methodologies to drive conversion costs down, improve output and reliability while integrating lean practices in the manufacturing processes. Maximizing Autonomations opportunities.

Your profile

• BS in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or related technical degree, or ten (10) years' experience in Manufacturing Engineering
• Direct Management experience for highly skilled engineering teams
• Hands on experience in specification and design of industry leading plastics tooling, equipment, and automation
• Excellent communication skills to lead and support empowered employees in a team environment.
• Proven experience with handling multiple complex projects simultaneously.
• Experience in leading a zero injury safety environment.
• Deep passion and experience based in Lean manufacturing.
