Samaritan Health Services has an opportunity for a Family Medicine Advanced Practitioner to join our team

Samaritan Health Services, a non-profit integrated health care delivery system, is seeking a full time Advanced Practitioner specialized in Family Medicine to join the Samaritan Waldport Clinic in Waldport, OR. Samaritan Pacific Communities Hospital, established in 1952, is home to a recently constructed 25-bed critical access hospital. The hospital located in the coastal community of Newport, Oregon, serves Waldport patients.

The network serves approximately 300,000 residents in Linn, Benton, Lincoln and portions of Polk and Marion counties. Job Specifics

• Minimal call scheduled and shared with a larger group of Samaritan physicians
• 16-18 patients per day
• 34 patient contact hours
• Will work with residents during clinic rotations
• 6 provider office; 4 physicians and 2 advanced practitioners

Job Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a family medicine clinic preferred.
• Ability to diagnose and treat immediate care needs and chronic conditions. Preferred procedures include skin biopsy, derm treatments, joint injections and aspirations
• Two years’ experience required
• Should possess excellent clinical skills, communication skills, and a strong commitment to providing excellent care that is team oriented.
• Oregon Licensure
• Epic EMR preferred
• Eligibility to work in the United States
