Adventure Park Specialist Job at Elmwood Day Camp
Elmwood Day Camp is looking for a someone to lead our Adventure Park! This role would be teaching children ages 5-10 the fundamentals how to safely jump, soar, climb and leap in our state of the art Adventure Park. The area includes a low ropes course, two zip lines, a climbing wall and a jump platform. Campers are harnessed in using our Koala Continuous Belay System.

Camp dates: June 26th - August 17th
The gymnastics specialist position is a full-time commitment of 8 weeks – Monday through Friday from 8:20 – 4:10, plus 2-3 days of mandatory staff orientation.
The right candidate:
- is an experienced educator who loves working with children and has the ability to oversee an adventure-based program.
- does not necessarily need prior adventure experience as you would go through our comprehensive training program.
Elmwood is a children’s day camp located in Westchester, NY, in a beautiful wooded residential section of White Plains, about 30 minutes outside NYC. As a part of the Elmwood team, staff members are sure to enjoy the challenges, triumphs, responsibilities, rewards and fun that make up each day. We have a high energy and friendly staff. We offer optional staff rec events in the evenings to allow staff to get to know each other after the camp day.
