SUMMARY
Fast-paced and multi-faceted role that maintains responsibility for executing and delivering national and retailer advertising campaign programs that support the Subaru Share the Love® Event, five (5) Love Promise Community Commitment causes, Love Promise Retailer Awards, and the Union Major League Soccer Partnership. Leads the coordination of advertising production and marketing activities with various internal and external stakeholders and agency partners.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supports in the development, coordination, execution, and delivery of the national (Tier 1) and retailer (Tier 3) advertising campaign programs related to assigned to the Subaru Share the Love® Event, five (5) Love Promise Community Commitment causes, Love Promise Retailer Awards, Retailer of The Year, and the Union Major League Soccer partnership. Creative material development is inclusive of items such as national TV creative, videos, social, print, point-of-purchase, digital videos, email, and drafting of retailer communications. Delivers completed assets and materials to internal teams and partners to ensure success of each campaign.
- Subaru Share the Love Event: Provides guidance to numerous internal and external teams to ensure successful launch of the event’s advertising campaign by communicating timing/deadlines, disseminating materials, and ensuring compliance of brand assets and campaign language while supporting in the execution on creative direction across all channels (Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3, internal, etc.). Partners with creative agency on development of all campaign creative assets such as filming and producing national TV creative.
- Coordinates backend integrations with Subaru IT, Subaru.com, and other external IT agencies to ensure that the advertising campaign program launches successfully. Serves as steward of the program brand assets, creative, and messaging to ensure cohesive overall communication. Maintains responsibility for disseminating and ensuring compliance of all accurate language and materials.
- Orchestrates advertising productions locally for various partnerships including those with the Philadelphia Union at Subaru Park in Chester, PA.
- Maintains accountability for Love Promise story submissions approvals and oversight of the Love Promise inbox and the Share the Love inbox. Leads resolution of any issues surrounding the story content, publishing, or overall platform functionality with support of Integrated Advertising Manager.
- Serves as lead in creative strategy, development, execution, and staffing of the Subaru Share the Love® Event booth at the annual Subaru National Business Conference.
- Supports and leads on ad hoc projects and content productions, including retailer recognition videos and supporting materials, additional Love Promise program needs as they arise, and media partner content reviews.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Heavily interacts and works cross-functionally with external agencies and internal SOA stakeholders including Executives, Legal, Brand Partnerships, Accounting, Corporate Responsibility, Field Team, Corporate Communications, Risk Management, Customer Advocacy, IT. Creative Services, vendors, and others in the greater Subaru organization. Provides clear, concise, consolidated direction to appropriate teams.
- Submits and reviews all materials for compliance with Legal, Risk Management, Product Management, ad agency, and other relevant parties.
- Tracks deadlines, deliverables, and project status for all aforementioned projects.
- Prepares for, attends, and presents at various internal and external meetings and conferences.
- Maintains up-to-date reporting for Share The Love program and impact reporting documents.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Six (6) to eight (8) years of experience in advertising production, marketing, or related field.
- Ability to multi-task and oversee multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities.
- Ability to be responsive and flexible to evolving responsibilities and changing environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong interpersonal, writing, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and independently.
- Ability to effectively work with all levels of the organization, including Executive team.
- Adept at building relationships.
- Creative solution-seeking skills and problem-solving skills.
- Preferred: Advertising production and Agency experience.
- Preferred: Understanding of the automotive industry, nonprofits, cause marketing, brand partnerships, or experience related to these areas.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Hybrid office Schedule: Hybrid Role - Remote work 2 days per week (after 90 Days)
- Must be an “Authorized Driver”
- Assist in supervising 1 contractor or intern for ongoing tasks and projects
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: BA/BS with 6 to 8 years of relevant experience
TRAVEL REQUIRED: 30% Travel to partners, SOA retailers, conferences/events, occasional night/weekend events
FLSA STATUS: Exempt
SALARY RANGE: The recruiting base salary range for this full-time position is $78,900 - $112,700. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
