REPORTS TO: Principal and After School Care Manager
FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt
Job Goal:
- To create a safe and nurturing environment in the EPIC After School Care Program that supports and furthers the mission of Pike Road Elementary School.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to meet the suitability criteria for employment and/or certification/licensure under the Alabama Child Protection Act of 1999 and Act No. 20026457.
- Effective interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on communication and collaboration with a wide variety of people and groups.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and perform assignments as directed with accuracy, attention to detail, and within established time frames.
- Physical strength, mobility, dexterity, stamina, and acuity to perform job responsibilities.
- Ability to be punctual and in regular attendance.
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may require
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure supervision of all learners at all time
- Maintain a safe, positive, secure environment
- Support implementation of daily activities of the After School Program
- Maintain daily rolls
EVALUATION: Job performance will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the State Department of Education and/or Pike Road Board of Education policy on the evaluation of classified personnel.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $11.00 - $18.00 per hour
