Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) Job at Worthington Aviation LLC
The shop AMT is responsible for ensuring repairs and inspections accomplished for Worthington Repair Services are completed properly while balancing safety and efficiency. This individual shall be knowledgeable with the Worthington Repair Service Repair Station Manual and support the policies and procedures contained therein. This position is a key contributor to the Worthington Repair Service (Worthington Repair Service) division.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Safely and efficiently accomplish maintenance / inspection functions as required to repair and inspect products being processed through WRS.
- Report to the WRS Manager for duty assignments as required.
- Complete internal company forms, work orders and repair documents.
- Responsible to ensure appropriate expendables are available as needed to support shop functions.
- Responsible for shop clean up.
- Work closely with Warehouse team members to ensure parts are transferred, tracked, and properly identified.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Requires a high school / GED diploma
- Hold an FAA Airman Certificate with Airframe and Power plant rating, or minimum of 5 years of aviation experience is required.
- Proficient with applicable FAR’s as required to perform job functions.
- Utilize problem solving methodologies for process improvement.
- Computer competent with good organizational skills.
- Follow written and / or oral instructions
- Speak clearly, concisely, and effectively; listen to, and understand information and ideas as presented.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
