Intermediate-level maintenance team supporting FRCW Det China Lake NAWS.

Description:
The Ordnance Mechanic will perform a variety of repairs and preventive maintenance on aircrafts armament equipments. Specific responsibilities may include:
- Operates and performs operator maintenance on armament weapons support equipment and aircraft armament equipment.
- Conducts "I" level functional tests of racks, launchers, adapters and electrical components, aircraft armament circuits and maintains them in an operational status by appropriate preventive maintenance.
- Procures supplies, maintains records, prepares reports, and utilizes publications pertinent to aviation ordnance and aircraft armament equipment.
- Performs quality control of work accomplished.
- Performs maintenance on Bru 32 and LAU 127
- High School diploma or equivalent
- A minimum of 4 years of aviation maintenance experience
- Possess a strong knowledge base of Maintenance Instruction Manuals (MIMs), maintenance publications, orders, and directives
- Demonstrated knowledge of fluids and gases and the principles of their use, as applicable to hydraulic/pneumatic systems

Must be able to and pass any medical examination requirements related to performing daily assigned tasks, as well as meet the associated physical requirements
- This position will require U.S. citizenship and the ability to pass a National Agency background check, which could include a criminal history and credit check for access to government facilities.
